OPERATION GRATITUDE HOSTS THE VIETNAM MEMORIAL

Visit the beautiful American Veterans Traveling Tribute*
to

Honor our Fallen Heroes and Send Thanks to our Currently Deployed Warriors

 
 

  This Event is Free and Open to the Public 



 

WE INVITE ALL SCOUTS TO LINE THE MOTORCADE PARADE ROUTE IN HONOR OF THE WALL

Wednesday October 14: Motorcade Escort
Best Viewing: Along Louise between Vanowen and Victory

Bring an American Flag and Wave as Motorcade Passes!

4:00pm: Muster at Airtel Plaza Hotel: 7277 Valjean Avenue, Van Nuys

5:30pm: Honor Guard and Greetings

6:00pm: Motorcade Departs for Exhibit Site led by

Grand Marshall
Stan Chambers;

ROUTE: West on Sherman Way, South on Louise to Event Site Please Assemble along Louise from Vanowen to Victory


 

The Exhibit will be set-up on the large lot adjacent to the Army National Guard Armory at Victory and Louise

Parking at the Skate Park and ONEgeneration from 12-8 daily and at Birmingham High School all day Sat & Sun.


 

 *The AVTT Exhibit includes a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall (80% scale), a Cost of Freedom display of Gold Dog Tags for every service member killed since Vietnam, a 9-11 tribute,  and an art display of paintings and photos from World War II and the Korean War.

Saturday October 17: 8am-8pm: Family Day

Community Group Performances    

Sunday October 18:  Open 8am-6pm

11am: Memorial Service with Condor Flyover

12 Noon: Parade of Honor Past Wall

Open Viewing of the Exhibit during all other hours

Help Operation Gratitude Prepare Care Packages for our Troops
in the Armory from 9-4 daily during Exhibit.    
All ages are invited to attend The Exhibit.
